What We Do

We specialize in all aspects of English Paper piecing and
appliqué. For English Piecing we supply a large range of printed paper shapes,
packs to make quilt tops called Tessatops,
and also have project packs that
provide everything you need to make a quilt except the fabric.

For appliqué we supply a large range of
Fusables, shapes printed directly onto genuine Vliesofix®
fusible webbing. If you're not familiar with using Vliesofix®
for appliqué you can find out all about it by looking at our
Fusables instruction sheet.
We also have a range of Fusablocks,
original Lizard of Oz block designs that include the Fusables you need to make
the block.

Matilda's Own Templates Now Available
We are excited to announce that we now stock an extensive range of Matilda's
Own templates for quilting. These templates are a huge time saver for applique,
English Piecing and other forms of patchwork and quilting. See the whole range

New Trapezium
A customer request has added a new size of
45 degree trapezium to our huge range of shapes for English Piecing.

New Sizes of Rectangle, Square and Half Square Triangle
The new Basket Block #1 pack (see below) includes one new size each of
rectangles, squares and
half square triangles. These shapes are also available individually in
packs for those larger projects.

This block is unusual as it used curved shapes for English piecing. The
pack contains enough shapes to make six blocks as shown on the left.

These packs contain a mixture of shapes for English Piecing that go together to
make a particular block design.
